The Tapestry
The Tapestry
We will stand amazed to see the topside of the tapestry and how God beautifully embroidered each circumstance into a pattern for our good and His glory.

Don’t be surprised when you encounter momentary troubles in this world. Your life will be woven with dark and light threads. From your earthly viewpoint, the underside of the tapestry may look like an odd mixture of mismatched colors, random textures, countless knots, tangled threads, and loose ends. To you, there is no order or visible image. You wonder what the “big picture” is, when, in fact, I’m weaving the events of your life into a meaningful pattern.
Look at My Word and notice how often the words suffering and glory are paired in Scripture. Peter said, “But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed” (1 Peter 4:13, NIV, emphasis added). When I give you glimpses of what I’m weaving into the fabric of your life, be encouraged. No thread of experience is wasted, and nothing happens by accident. Your suffering is only temporary, but you will enjoy My glory forever. When you get to heaven and see the finished tapestry, you’ll understand.
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
2 Corinthians 4:17, NIV
