The Rock

Sometimes God lets you hit rock bottom so that you will discover He is the Rock at the bottom.

I am your Source of strength in times of distress and danger. When your life feels upended and you’re uncertain about the path ahead, remember that I am unchangeable. You can trust Me. The psalmist said, “The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety” (Psalm 18:2).

When you embrace Me as your Rock, you hold firmly to the belief that I am your solid Foundation in the middle of every circumstance or trial you may face. When your heart grows faint, pray, “Lead me to the rock that is higher than I” (Psalm 61:2, NIV). Your victory and honor will come from Me alone. No enemy can reach you when I am your Refuge (Psalm 62:7). I will be your sure Hope and your Deliverer, no matter what happens to you in the future. Instead of giving in to desperation, choose My protection as your total rock-solid security.

No one is holy like the LORD! There is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.
