I can do far more than you could ever imagine in your wildest dreams. Fear has held you back because you keep rehearsing the wrong choices of your past. This leaves you stuck—never feeling good enough to receive all that I have for you. Stop denying Me the opportunity to bless you. Jesus took care of your wrongdoings when He died on the cross. If you have received Him as your Savior, you no longer have to carry the burden of your sin around like unnecessary baggage. That heavy load will weigh on your mind and keep you from concentrating on My Word. It will also rob you of feeling worthy enough to accept opportunities to serve in Christian leadership.

Instead of being a slave to your past, acknowledge that I can erase your wrong choices, bolster your inadequacy, and redeem your disgraces. As you worship Me today, say aloud, “My God is stronger than the grave, more powerful than my shame, and He will do immeasurably more in my life today.”

God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.
