You are always more content when you focus on the purpose of your life. You were created to glorify Me and to enjoy Me. Worship comes from your heart and overflows in praise. As you find delight in Me and verbalize your genuine joy through songs of praise and expressions of love, everything about your day improves. You concentrate on Me and not on your problems. Your focus is on what you can do for others instead of what they can do for you. Your disappointments turn into longings for a deeper relationship with Me, and your delight in My presence is evident to everyone who spends time with you.

When you understand the main point of your life, you are more settled and secure in your daily routine. Even ordinary activities take on eternal meaning because everything you do—small and large—has spiritual significance. As you acknowledge Me in the mundane activities of life, the works of your hands become an offering to Me and I am glorified by your humility and service. Your life exhibits an understanding of My precepts. The more you know Me and love Me, the more your heart change becomes a testimony that points people to Me.

LORD, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws; our heart’s desire is to glorify your name.
