Have you ever stood in the night wind and looked up at a blanket of stars? The blazing brightness of the heavens so captures you that words can hardly express the ache in your heart. . . . One day you will put on glory like that. It will be yours for ever and ever.

The glory of My earthly creation is a little taste of the splendor that awaits you in eternity. The heavens are spectacular in their contrast of darkness and light. The darker the night, the more the moon and stars sparkle with brightness, glittering in the night as if to say, “You can shine in darkness too!”

Right now the heaviness in your heart is making it hard for you to believe that My light is visible through your pain. But you have put your faith and trust in Me, and because you’ve stood strong in the middle of your trials, the bright light of My presence is reflected through your face and your actions. Your faithful testimony has not gone unnoticed. It has been a guiding light, leading others to find sure footing along their own difficult and poorly illuminated paths. They see Me and reach for My hand when they feel afraid, because you have pointed them to the light of My presence.

Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.
