Sovereign God

This truth is hard to grasp, but you can stake your life on it: even when everything seems a mess, you can press your face into the mane of the Lion of Judah and trust Him. Our God is sovereign.

Be comforted with these words: I am in control. Nothing happens in the universe outside of My authority and influence. I have no limitations. Review these truths: I created all things in the heavens and the earth, visible and invisible, and I hold them together (Colossians 1:16). There is no limit to My knowledge—past, present, and future (Romans 11:33). Nothing is too hard for Me (Jeremiah 32:17). I have power and authority over nations, rulers, angels, and demons (Psalm 103:19). I am immortal—the beginning and the end (Revelation 21:6).

I rule in love, and I want the best for you. Nothing can come into your life that I don’t allow. Take comfort in knowing that I’m in charge of your life. Don’t be afraid. Don’t give up. Don’t despair. I am on your side. I will be your Deliverer, your Protector, your Shield, and your Strong Tower (Psalm 144:2). If you trust Me, I will direct you through your circumstances.

The LORD has established His throne in the heavens, and His sovereignty rules over all.
