Look for My fingerprints on your everyday activities. You find it easy to discover evidence of My presence when extraordinary things happen, but you find it more difficult to detect Me in the ordinary moments of life. Today, be aware of My involvement in your routine. Rather than looking for supernatural happenings, trust Me to reveal the divine opportunities in your life. “The LORD leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant” (Psalm 25:10).

Your most sacred moments may be caring for your children; feeding a homeless person; offering a smile to a stranger; delivering a meal to a shut-in; volunteering at an assisted living facility; sharing your faith with a coworker; taking games, coloring books, and crayons to the visitation area at a prison; or talking to a lonely person. Sometimes you think you are only about My business when you are quoting Bible verses to others. But as you continue to follow Me, I want you to see how your everyday encounters are holy opportunities and divine appointments.

When you come looking for me, you’ll find me. Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed. . . . I’ll turn things around for you.
