You and I are children of the King, the Creator of the universe! No matter what family we’re born into—or not born into—it isn’t possible to have a better lineage than that!

When you accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, you became a child of the King. You now have the privilege and the responsibility of representing Me in every area of your life. Because you’re not in your heavenly home yet, it’s sometimes hard for you to believe that you’re royalty, but that doesn’t change your lineage! You are My child, and along with Jesus Christ, you are an heir of My glory.

The benefits of being royalty are great. You are the apple of My eye. You are beloved and blessed. You will share in Jesus’ inheritance. “[I have] enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to [My] people, who live in the light” (Colossians 1:12). Embrace your identity as royalty and use your gift of influence to tell others about the incredible turnaround I orchestrated in your life. You are now part of My family. No matter what your earthly family background is, when you put your faith in Jesus, you became part of My family!

You are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God’s instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you—from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted.
