God surpasses our dreams when we . . . walk the path He has chosen for us. He is obligated to keep us dissatisfied until we come to Him and His plan for complete satisfaction.

There’s a stirring in your soul, and it’s made you feel unsettled. Ask My Spirit to reveal the meaning of this creative restlessness. It doesn’t always mean I’m trying to convict you of sin or that you’re going in the wrong direction. I often stir your spirit when I am about to do something new. Allow this heightened awareness of My presence to make you alert to the opportunities I’m placing before you.

You’ve often thought you need to resolve your own painful issues before you can do the work I’ve prepared for you. But this is a lie from the enemy to keep you from being productive and fruitful right now. Try praying in this way: “Lord, I feel like an imperfect vessel for doing Your Kingdom work. I’ve often waited to accept an leadership position, or to assist those who need help, because I’ve been so aware of my personal shortcomings and limitations. I’ve been self-focused instead of focused on You. Thank You for unsettling my spirit. I accept Your will for my next steps. Show me how to use my abilities for Your glory. I want my restlessness to lead me to complete fulfillment in Your plan for my future.”

Commit your works to the LORD [submit and trust them to Him], and your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance].
