God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.

Refresh yourself in My presence. Find satisfaction and contentment in your walking, talking, everyday moments with Me. I am glorified when you enjoy your time with Me. Come to Me when you are tired and when your burdens are too heavy to carry, and I will restore your body and lift the weight from your shoulders. “I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint” (Jeremiah 31:25, NIV).

Be aware of the source of your spiritual renewal. “Times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord” (Acts 3:20). After you have been revitalized in your faith, make it a habit to do the same for others. One of My followers named Philemon knew how to do this, and the apostle Paul wrote these words to him: “Your love has given me much joy and comfort, my brother, for your kindness has often refreshed the hearts of God’s people” (Philemon 1:7). Develop that kind of reputation, and your example will reflect My image. In the process of blessing others, you will experience a revitalized heart.

Those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.
