You are a soldier in My army. As your Commanding Officer, I’ve given you the code of conduct in My Word. Your enemy seeks to destroy you with discouragement, criticism, disappointment, and despair. Your weapons of warfare are not what you’d expect to find in most battles. But I know how effective the defenses of prayer, faith, courage, and Scripture are. I have personally instructed you in how to use them properly. You have been tested by the fire of adversity and have found Me trustworthy. Now you can confidently and boldly engage in defending My truth.

Have a spirit of humility and come before Me as Joshua did with this question: “What do you want your servant to do?” As a good soldier of Jesus Christ, “put on the whole armor of God” (Ephesians 6:11, ESV) and be alert (1 Peter 5:8). Stand up for righteousness. Defend the downtrodden. Speak up for those who have no voice. Proclaim victory in My name.
