No Mistakes

God can be trusted. He keeps His promises. He doesn’t make any mistakes.

Your life is not an accident. When you wake up each day and breathe in fresh air, it’s because I have a plan for your life. Before your parents knew you were conceived, I did. I knew the color of your eyes and hair. I knew your personality and the gifts you would have. I scheduled each day of your life before you took your first breath, and I knew the number of your days before you were born. Every day of your life was recorded in my book (Psalm 139:16).

Your birth was not a chance happening. Be confident that I will work out My plans for your life (Psalm 138:8). I’ve searched your heart, and I know you’ve sometimes wondered why I allowed you to be born and why you’ve had to endure disappointments, hurts, and hardships. When you’re struggling, your focus tends to move away from My truth. Remember My promises: “I have cared for you since you were born. Yes, I carried you before you were born. I will be your God throughout your lifetime—until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you” (Isaiah 46:3-4). Trust Me to be your Protector. I will accomplish My purpose for your life.

God’s way is perfect. All the LORD’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.
