Think about your needs. Now consider My unlimited power and complete control. I never get tired, and I never run out of time to accomplish My work. I am never late. “Do you not know? . . . The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom” (Isaiah 40:28, NIV).

I am aware of your questions: “If You are all-powerful, why did You allow my child to be born with a disability? If You hold the world in Your hands, why didn’t You keep that hurricane from making landfall? If You don’t work against deadlines, why did the ambulance get to the scene too late to save my loved one? Why did my spouse get cancer? Why was I abused? Why do I struggle with infertility?” In the midst of your pain, take time to explore My character. I cannot sin. I came to save you from the evil in this world. “The LORD is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does” (Psalm 145:17, NIV). I will use My limitless resources to work on your behalf. Quiet your spirit and relax in My arms. One day you will understand how I was interceding for you and holding you by the hand, even on your most difficult days.

I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.
