Never Alone
Never Alone
God has promised that whatever you face, you are not alone. He knows your pain. He loves you. And He will bring you through the fire.
Sheila Walsh
Life is filled with separations—children leave home, friends move far away, spouses make bad choices, disease and death rob you of loved ones, and sometimes you make decisions that distance you from Me. But you are not alone. I promise to be with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
On days when you feel lonely, look to Me. I care about your loneliness. When I created Adam in the Garden of Eden, I recognized his need to connect with another human being, so I created Eve. “It is not good for the man to be alone” (Genesis 2:18). I designed you to need relationships. It is My deepest desire for you to walk through life with Me. I will carry your burdens and comfort you during times of loss. I will listen to your cries for help and give you rest when you’re weary. Your friendship with Me lays the groundwork upon which you can build relationships with others. Rather than seeking isolation, open up to those around you. It is not good for you to do life alone.
Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.
Hebrews 13:5, NIV
