I have heard your cries for help, and I am here—ready to give you comfort, shelter, and assistance. Like the psalmist, you have prayed, “Hear me, LORD, and have mercy on me. Help me, O LORD” (Psalm 30:10). Your prayers are precious to Me. During the tests and trials of your life, you can lift your hands to Me, or you can wring your hands with anxiety, stress, and fear. The choice is yours.

My promises reveal that I am reaching out to you with My strong hand to grasp your trembling one. Say this verse aloud: “Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life” (Psalm 54:4, ESV). Envision Me upholding your life. Remember My willingness to help you. I offer you forgiveness of sins (1 John 1:9), peace of mind (Philippians 4:7), freedom from fear (Isaiah 12:2), rest (Matthew 11:28), deliverance from distress and trouble (Psalm 107:13), and eternal life (John 3:36). I’m offering you help for every one of your needs. Reach out and accept the provisions I’ve made available, and you’ll discover a never-ending supply of support for today and every day.

So we can say with confidence, “The LORD is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?”
