More To Come
When you see that sunset or that panoramic view of God’s finest expressed in nature, and the beauty just takes your breath away, remember it is just a glimpse of the real thing that awaits you in heaven.
Greg Laurie
Take time to enjoy My creation. You’ve been so busy recently that it’s been hard to watch a sunset or walk through a flower garden, taking in the wide array of colors on the earth and in the sky. Consider the design of a butterfly’s wing and the intense hues of the planets. Marvel at the majesty of the mountains and the vastness of the galaxies. I created the heavens and the earth for you. “Through [Christ] God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see” (Colossians 1:16).
Whatever you are experiencing during this stage of your journey, allow the beauty of My creation to be a preview of the breathtaking glory that I have prepared for you in heaven. “I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. . . . And the one sitting on the throne said, ‘Look, I am making everything new!’ And then he said to me, ‘Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true’” (Revelation 21:1-2, 5).
The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship.
Psalm 19:1
