Love Each Other
Love Each Other
Love pays attention. Love listens to the fears and the doubts of others and treats them with respect. Love accepts others the way Jesus accepts you.
Rick Warren
Love Me with your whole heart. Talk to Me. Sing to Me. Listen to Me. Seek My advice for your questions about everyday living and about difficult, life-altering decisions. Tell Me about your anxieties, your fears, and your doubts. I enjoy communicating with you. Once you have established a relationship with Me, learn to love yourself. You’ve read this command in My Word: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Celebrate the progress you’ve made personally and spiritually.
Now it’s time to love others. Loving the people around you is a distinguishing characteristic of My followers. “The way we know we’ve been transferred from death to life is that we love our brothers and sisters” (1 John 3:14, MSG). Through your words and actions, demonstrate your love. Pay attention to the needs of others and be creative in the ways you show how much you care. When you love others in practical ways, not only will the love be returned to you, but you’ll experience more joy, peace, and contentment. Make a daily habit of loving Me, loving yourself, and loving others.
Jesus replied, “The most important commandment is this: . . . ‘And you must love the LORD your God will all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
Mark 12:29-31
