I am El-Shaddai, the One to whom nothing is impossible. I am all-powerful, and I am completely capable of taking your broken situation and turning it into something good. Right now you can’t envision how that could be possible, but I can turn your tragedy into victory. “Is anything too hard for the LORD?” (Genesis 18:14).

Stop long enough to consider how your circumstances have created a pathway for good. Have you sensed My presence in the middle of your difficulty? Have your basic needs been met? Has your compassion for others increased? Have you recognized My intense love for you, and has it comforted you? I am great and mighty, and I will be with you to the end—with resources, support, encouragement, wisdom, strength, and love. Nothing escapes My notice—including your faithfulness amid adversity. Do not despair. I will continue to use My power for your good.

“I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.”
