Live righteously even when you think no one is watching. You hold Me in the place of highest honor when your life exhibits a moral code, ethics, and values based on My precepts. Don’t be wishy-washy. Keep your word and follow through with your promises. Be honest in your dealings with others and let truthfulness be evidence of your character. When you demonstrate a Christlike attitude, you become a magnet for people who are longing for straightforward answers to their tough questions. Word gets around that you are someone who can be trusted.

Duplicity and dishonesty are so prevalent in society that your display of integrity announces to the world that your faith is real. People find hypocrisy disgusting, and they have no respect for someone who says one thing and then does another. “Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors” (1 Peter 2:12). When you say you are a follower of Christ, let your life, your speech, and your kindness to others reflect what you say you believe. Continue to walk in constant awareness of Me, and people will be drawn to your faith, even without words.

He is a shield to those who walk with integrity. He guards the paths of the just and protects those who are faithful to him.
