Grace
Grace
Grace is getting what you don’t deserve, and not getting what you do deserve.
Justin Holcomb
Have you embraced the benefits of My unlimited grace? Instead of carrying around guilt for bad choices, you can experience complete forgiveness. Instead of striving for perfection or trying to be “good enough,” you’re set free to worship a perfect God who points you in the right direction. When you humbly confessed your sin and received salvation through My Son’s sacrifice on the cross, you received My “no-strings-attached” grace. You didn’t earn it. You didn’t work for it. It was free. “If, by the trespass of the one man [Adam], death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:17, NIV).
Now it’s time for you to live in the endless provision of My boundless grace and to let others know that they, too, can be free from shame, regret, and second-guessing their past decisions. Shout it from the rooftops: “God’s grace covers your past. God’s grace exchanges a heavy heart for a light heart. Run to Him and find what you’ve been looking for—a place of acceptance, complete forgiveness, and the warmest welcome you’ve ever received. Embrace grace!”
God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
Ephesians 2:8-9
