God’s Will

Your call will become clear as your mind is transformed by the reading of Scripture and the internal work of God’s Spirit. The Lord never hides His will from us. In time, as you obey the call first to follow, your destiny will unfold before you.

Seek My guidance for your life. Beware of rushing through your life making risky, self-confident choices without consulting Me. The first step to discovering My will is to ask for My leading. Avoid selfish motives. As you remain in My Word and apply biblical truth to your life, your day-to-day decisions will fall into place. But some choices will be harder. Ask Me for mental clarity when you’re faced with confusing options. I will never guide you to make choices that conflict with My Word. The closer you are to Me, the more your discernment will be sharpened.

Spend time with trustworthy people who understand My truth, and ask for their advice. Sometimes I work through other believers to give you clear direction (Proverbs 12:15). Remember that My Holy Spirit resides in you. Two of His roles are to be your Teacher and your Guide. As you seek My will, look for a sense of either uneasiness or inner peace before you make important choices. Even if your life has detours, roadblocks, and U-turns, I’ll give you all the wisdom you need to move forward.

The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.
