The enemy is a deceiver. He wants you to think the bad choices you’ve made in the past will diminish My love and concern for you. But he’s wrong. I created you in My image, and you are important to Me. I watched as My Son died on the cross for every sinful decision you’ve made. There is nothing you can ever do that will make Me turn My back on you or withhold My grace from you.

Turn your face toward Me, confess your sins, receive My forgiveness, and walk in a new direction. I have big plans for your life, and if you’re willing to follow Me, I’ll use the ugliness of your past as a showcase for My glory. Don’t wait to experience My forgiveness, thinking you have to earn My approval first. I’m here now, ready to listen to you and eager to set you free from the burden of your past.

If we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.
