Enduring Love

Though our feelings come and go, His love for us does not. It is not wearied by our sins, or our indifference; and, therefore, it is quite relentless in its determination.

I want you to understand what enduring love is. King Darius published a proclamation about who I am: “He is the living God, world without end. His kingdom never falls. His rule continues eternally. He is a savior and rescuer. He performs astonishing miracles in heaven and on earth. He saved Daniel from the power of the lions” (Daniel 6:26-27, MSG). I am not wishy-washy in My character or in My actions. What I do is righteous. What I say, I mean. “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself” (Jeremiah 31:3).

Today I want you to say, “God’s love endures forever.” Then say, “God’s love for me endures forever.” There is no wrong choice you could ever make that would change that. My love for you endures forever. There is no outside force that can change this fact. My love for you endures forever. Even if you try to flee from My presence—My love for you endures forever. There is nothing in this world or in heaven that will distract Me from caring about you. My love for you will never end.

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.
