Chosen
Chosen
Have you ever longed to be chosen because you were really wanted . . . you were really desired? Child of God, the Lord chose you “before the creation of the world.” He chose you because He wanted you, not because of your strength, scholarship, or skill.

Dear one, sometimes you get hung up over whether I chose you or you chose Me. But today, I want you to concentrate on what it means to be chosen. You are My child, My beloved, My delight, and My joy. When you know you are chosen, it confirms to your heart that you are wanted, included, and deeply loved. Imagine Me saying, “I pick you! You’re on My team. We were meant to be together.”
The truth of the matter is that I did choose you, and you chose to follow Me. You were chosen “before the foundation of the world” (Ephesians 1:4, ESV), and you walked through a door that said, “Whosoever will, let him come.” What a wonder! Our relationship is special, unique, and close. I will give you guidance in your life, but I will never force your hand. Obedience is your part. I have given you everything you need to find My plan, decipher My will, and walk in wisdom. Do not fear the future. I will triumph over every enemy of your soul, and you will reign with Me—you, My chosen one. For I am “Lord of all lords and King of all kings” and you “are called and chosen and faithful” (Revelation 17:14).
You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.
John 15:16
