Rest in the guarantee that when you are too overwhelmed, too exhausted, too sick, too sad, too disappointed, or too frustrated, I will carry you. My Son has already carried your sins on the cross—that crushing load is gone. Let Me take your anxieties. Peter wrote, “Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you” (1 Peter 5:7). Sometimes you think your little concerns aren’t important enough to give to Me, and that means you’re missing out on the peace of mind I long for you to experience. Give Me your apprehensions about your livelihood, your family, your decisions, and your afflictions. In return, you’ll receive peace, comfort, joy, and hope.

You’ve felt the pressure of holding things together during a difficult year that’s been filled with more detours, stressors, and hardships than you ever anticipated. You have carried these burdens on your own far too long. I am your Abba Father. Come to Me. Let Me pick you up, hold you close, and carry you.

I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul.
