You have no idea how many people there are in the world whose day could be made and their life changed for the better if someone would just look them in the eye, smile, and say, “Hello.”

Your current limitations have made you think there isn’t much you can do to benefit My Kingdom. Dear one, that thought is far from the truth. Because of your personal relationship with Me, you bring My presence into every space you occupy. It’s the influence of My Holy Spirit dwelling within you that lets others experience Christ through you. As My ambassador, you influence people to consider the difference I can make in their lives—not through physical force or formal authority, but by your character and wisdom. When people see you living for Me in the face of trials, you are My messenger of hope. You point people to a different kind of joy—a joy that can exist, and even thrive, amid pain, struggle, and hardship. I have given you the joy of My presence (Psalm 21:6).

As My faithful representative, you exemplify another way of life—life in Christ. Look for people who need a smile, a word of encouragement, a simple act of kindness, or a comforting hug. Practice hospitality, courtesy, and graciousness as you advance My Kingdom. Through your testimony, some people will discover Christ for the first time and others will come back to Him.

We are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”
