Abundance

Do you want more abundance? More is always possible, but you’ll have to do something opposite of what you’re currently doing. You’ll have to cooperate with God’s ways and respond in obedience and trust.

Think about what it means to have a life overflowing with abundance. You may have looked around at other people and wondered why they have so much when it feels like you have very little. Consider this: You’ve been thinking about abundance as monetary wealth and an accumulation of comfort-producing items. But genuine abundance is not about what you get or claim—it’s about receiving blessings from My hand and being a good steward of My gifts.

You can be assured that your life will overflow with good things when you share what you have with others. Here’s what I give you: “Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance” (Jude 1:2, NIV). Living in abundance means you have a large quantity of My grace, wisdom, patience, hope, joy, love, and peace. Be creative about how you can share those gifts with the people around you. Sometimes you will pass on tangible items to people in need. More often, you will express the inexplicable joy and peace of walking with Me during difficult times and finding Me faithful. When you give these blessings to others, I keep giving you more and more—they will never run out.
