You Are Mine
You Are Mine
The one who formed you says, “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression . . . the flames will not consume you.”
Isaiah 43:1-2
Read the passage again and imagine God is speaking directly to you. Then meditate on these statements of God’s love for you:
I have rescued you. I have called you. You are mine. I will be with you. You will not drown. You will not be consumed by oppression.
Which of these statements means the most to you? Over the past week, when have you most felt accepted by God? How might this impact your interactions with yourself and others?
