Who Needs You Today?

If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person?

1 John 3:17

Think of one immediate need around you today. Perhaps a sick friend needs a meal, a lonely person could use a friend, or a homeless person needs a blanket.

Imagine yourself in that situation. What might they be feeling right now?

Ask God how you can act on meeting this need today (or this week), and then make sure you follow through.

It’s important to ask God before you act, because there may be times when he will put into your mind just the right way to serve the person in need.
