Compassion to All

The Lord is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all his creation.

Psalm 145:9

Do you believe some people deserve compassion more than others?

How do you feel about showing compassion toward those whom you see as lazy, rude, arrogant, vulgar, or wealthy?

Read the above passage again and reflect on the words everyone and all. Talk to the Lord about someone who comes to mind who doesn’t seem to deserve your compassion.

How might God be asking you to show compassion to this person today?

Perhaps it could be through an act of kindness, praying for the Lord to work in your own heart, or simply putting yourself in their shoes.
