Unsettled

Unsettled

Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight! Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of guilt, whose lives are lived in complete honesty!

Psalm 32:1-2

In God’s Outrageous Claims, apologist Lee Strobel wrote, “Few things accelerate the peace process as much as humbly admitting our own wrongdoing and asking forgiveness.”*

With this quote in mind, ask yourself, Are there areas in my life where I don’t have peace? Where I feel unsettled? (Areas could include a relationship, home life, work decisions, or free-time choices.)

Ask God to point out any unconfessed sin you have in these areas. Pray, “Lord, I desire to live in complete honesty. I long to be free from my guilt. Please show me whatever is keeping me from experiencing joy, peace, and a full relationship with you and with others.”
