Filled Up

True godliness with contentment is itself great wealth. After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it. So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content.

1 Timothy 6:6-8

Can you be content with what God has given you?

Think about one thing you often wish for but don’t really need and possibly may never achieve (such as a new car, a remodeled kitchen, or thicker hair).

Spend a few minutes talking to God about the places in your heart that are unsatisfied and ungrateful. Pray, “Lord, I want to experience true contentment. I confess my desire to always have more. May I be content in that for today, I have enough.”
