Stand Up

Solomon stood before the altar of the Lord in front of the entire community of Israel. He lifted his hands toward heaven, and he prayed.

1 Kings 8:22-23

Standing before a king means that you have been legally justified to be in his presence.

When you stand in prayer, it reflects confidence in your place of undeserved privilege before God because of Christ (see Romans 5:2).

Stand boldly before God in prayer today.

Thank him that you can stand before him clothed in righteousness because of what Christ has done.

End the prayer by telling him what you are confidently and joyfully looking forward to in eternity with him.
