Job 13:23

With the above verse in mind, ask yourself how often you say those words in prayer. If you were to be honest, how much importance do you place on confession?

Many people think they’re pretty good, so they don’t actively search the darkest corners of their hearts for sin. But when the roots of sin are left unchecked, they grow wild and untamed. Therefore it’s actually healthy to root out anything in you that prevents you from having full and vibrant fellowship with God.

So pause right now and let the Holy Spirit point out something deep within you that you need to confess. Pray, “Lord, here I am. I present myself to you. I open my heart to you. Show me where I have sinned.”
