Can You Recognize My Voice?

What tactics does Satan use to take your thoughts and intentions from God? Does he tempt you with a desire for more money or possessions? A deep need for approval from others? An excessive focus on your appearance?

As you practice discernment, ask God to help you distinguish his voice from your own, from others’, and from Satan’s. As you make decisions, get in the habit of pausing to question which voice is speaking to you. You can begin by asking yourself, Is this decision leading me toward or away from God?
