My Question for God

Why does following God seem so hard sometimes?

A Moment with God

Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.

1 Chronicles 28:20

Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me.”

Matthew 16:24

The fact that you are following God in something doesn’t make it easy. In fact, the more important a task is, the more evil forces will throw up roadblocks. If God is leading you in a certain direction, don’t give up just because the going gets tough. Keep moving forward boldly with your eyes fixed on God, and your faith will be strengthened as you obey him.

Divine Promise

When troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
