Victory
Victory
MY QUESTION for GOD
What does it mean to live the victorious Christian life?
A MOMENT with GOD
The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
1 Corinthians 10:13
Put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.
Ephesians 6:13
Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.
Ephesians 6:18
Every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
1 John 5:4-5
The Lord is a warrior; Yahweh is his name!
Exodus 15:3
Thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:57
Your greatest victory has already been won by Christ, when you received God’s gift of salvation. But you need daily victory over the strongholds of sin that threaten your ability to effectively live the Christian life. Sin destroys—sometimes dramatically, sometimes slowly. Sin harasses you, constantly threatening to draw you away from your relationship with God. To live a victorious life, you must relentlessly battle against sin and remove it from your heart piece by piece. When you trust Jesus Christ with your life, he equips you with everything you need to conquer sin and gain the victory.
DIVINE PROMISE
They will fight against you like an attacking army, but I will make you as secure as a fortified wall of bronze. They will not conquer you, for I am with you to protect and rescue you. I, the LORD, have spoken! Jeremiah 15:20
