What does it mean to trust God?

You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things.
Revelation 4:11
Trusting God means recognizing that God is your creator and knows what is best for you.
Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.
Ephesians 3:17
Trusting God is an ongoing process that happens within a personal relationship with him.
“Build a large boat. . . . I am about to cover the earth with a flood.” . . . Noah did everything exactly as God had commanded him.

Trusting God means obeying his commands even when you don’t fully understand his reasons.
We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.
