MY QUESTION for GOD

I know I should tithe but I have so many other expenses. Is tithing really necessary in God’s eyes?

Tithing is not just a religious law. Tithing is both practical and symbolic. Practically, tithing is a means of supporting the church and the work of believers around the world. When we give, we do so because we believe in the church and the work it is doing. Symbolically, giving the first part of our earnings to the Lord demonstrates that he is our number one priority and that we are grateful for the blessings he has given us. When we tithe, not only are we supporting God’s work, fellow believers, and those in need, we are showing our commitment to God and honoring him for his provision and faithfulness. A habit of tithing allows you to experience a divine moment because it makes God your top priority and gives you the proper perspective on the rest of your paycheck. Instead of asking, “How much of my money do I need to give to God?” ask yourself, “How much of God’s money do I need to keep?”

DIVINE PROMISE

“You have cheated me of the tithes and offerings due to me. . . . Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it!
