MY QUESTION for GOD

Are there really spiritual enemies or powers of darkness trying to get me?

A MOMENT with GOD

Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia.”

Daniel 10:12-13

Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted there by the devil.

Matthew 4:1

The Bible clearly teaches that human beings are involved in a spiritual battle. Rather than excluding you from this warfare, your faith puts you right in the middle of it. You are in a battle for your very soul. You must recognize this reality so you can arm yourself, or else you will be overwhelmed.

We are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

Ephesians 6:12

The enemy who planted the weeds among the wheat is the devil.

Matthew 13:39

The world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world.

1 John 2:16

Satan is real and active, and his legions of demons are always on the attack. A battle rages in the spiritual realm. You can’t see it, but you will experience if you seek to serve God. You need God’s power in order to stand strong and resist temptation. Most of all, since you do not always know or understand the evil that is threatening you, you need God’s power to give you strength to face the unknown. Have peace because God has already won the battle and uses his power to save you.

DIVINE PROMISE

The Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.
