What are some of the great promises of God?

God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16

The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 6:23

God promises salvation to all who accept it. Those who believe that Jesus died for their sins, confess those sins, and are truly sorry for them, will be saved from the punishment their sins deserve. God looks at them as if they had never sinned, and he gives them eternal life in heaven.

If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth.

John 14:15-17

God promises to be with you forever in the form of the Holy Spirit.
