Presence Of God

Presence of God

MY QUESTION for GOD

How can I experience God’s presence more often in my life?

A MOMENT with GOD

The Lord is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth.

Psalm 145:18

The Lord invites you to call on him without hesitation. If you are sincere in wanting to know him—rather than just looking for a good-luck charm or magic genie—God promises to reveal himself to you.

If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins.

2 Chronicles 7:14

Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.

James 4:8

Sin drives a wedge between you and God. You can experience God’s presence again when you turn from your sinful habits and attitudes, confess them to God, and ask him to forgive you and make you clean.

Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence.

Ephesians 3:12

When Jesus sacrificed his own life for you, dying on the cross to pay the price for your sin, he made it possible for you to come into the presence of God.

When you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.

Jeremiah 29:12-13

Seeking and finding God requires earnest, purposeful prayer.

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for.

Matthew 7:7

God invites you to approach him often and persistently.

DIVINE PROMISE

I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. . . . You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever. Psalm 16:8, 11
