Planning
Planning
MY QUESTION for GOD
If God has a plan, should I do any planning?
A MOMENT with GOD
God is telling Pharaoh in advance what he is about to do. . . . Joseph’s suggestions were well received by Pharaoh and his officials. So Pharaoh asked his officials, “Can we find anyone else like this man so obviously filled with the spirit of God?”
Genesis 41:25, 37-38
What you ought to say is, “If the Lord wants us to, we will live and do this or that.”
James 4:15
We know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
Romans 8:28
Joseph’s willingness to use his God-given gifts to help the Egyptians plan for seven years of famine allowed God’s plan to be carried out. It’s fine to ask God to bless your plans, but you should also be willing to use your gifts and abilities to help carry out God’s plans. What a divine moment it is when God uses you to implement his plan! How do you know what work God wants you to be a part of? The first step is to have an open mind and an obedient heart, like Joseph did. The path of obedience will always take you in the right direction. As you follow God, plan to become a part of his plan.
DIVINE PROMISE
Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5-6
