MY QUESTION for GOD

What are some of the characteristics of a wise person?

A MOMENT with GOD

Only fools say in their hearts, “There is no God.”

Psalm 14:1

Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.

Proverbs 1:7

A wise woman builds her home, but a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands.

Proverbs 14:1

Fools have no interest in understanding; they only want to air their own opinions.

Proverbs 18:2

To learn how to be wise, we can examine both wisdom and foolishness. The Bible describes fools as having the following characteristics: they refuse to acknowledge the existence of God; they make no attempt to develop wisdom or self-discipline; they are entertained by making fun of what is good and moral; they speak carelessly and thoughtlessly about others; and they think they are always right. Therefore, a wise person develops the opposite characteristics: they acknowledge a loving God who deeply cares about his people; they actively discipline themselves to pursue wisdom; they respect what is good and right and stand up against what is wrong; they find the good in others and encourage them; and they are humble enough to know they don’t have all the answers.

DIVINE PROMISE

THE WISE ARE MIGHTIER THAN THE STRONG, AND THOSE WITH KNOWLEDGE GROW STRONGER AND STRONGER.   Proverbs 24:5
