Mercy
Mercy
MY QUESTION for GOD
Mercy seems like such an outdated concept. How does it affect my daily life?
A MOMENT with GOD
The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
Psalm 103:8
Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.
Romans 6:14
Let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
Hebrews 4:16
Mercy is another word for the amazing kindness God showers on us, even when we do not deserve it. God’s greatest act of kindness is to offer us salvation and eternal life, even though at times we have ignored him, neglected him, and rebelled against him. When God forgives you, his mercy sets you free from the power of sin so that you can choose each day to overpower your sinful nature. God’s mercy changes your life when you understand what it feels like to be loved even when you have not loved in return. When you understand the mercy God has shown you, it will cause you to love others in the same way, creating in their lives a divine moment. Determine to be an example of God’s mercy to someone else today.
DIVINE PROMISE
I PROMISE THIS VERY DAY THAT I WILL REPAY TWO BLESSINGS FOR EACH OF YOUR TROUBLES.
Zechariah 9:12
