Beautiful Word Devotional #274

In him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.

Colossians 1:16

Whenever you feel alone in the challenges, losses, and pain of life, remember this verse from Colossians. Consider that everything you see and touch and hear and smell was created by your amazing God. And your Creator God is keenly aware of all that happens in his world. That all includes you and your current situation.

Your heavenly Father knows why you are fretting in the middle of the night. He sees and controls the various moving pieces of your life. And he cares about you. He loves you to the point of letting his Son die as payment for your sins.

Take courage knowing the Almighty God absolutely loves you and is taking care of you even if life makes you feel otherwise. God will answer your prayers for his help. And he will guide you in the way you need to go.

Lord, I’m humbled that you, who created everything and oversee the universe, are taking care of me, amen.
