Light For Your Path

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.

God’s guidance is not so much a searchlight that brightens a large area as it is a flashlight that illuminates just enough of the path ahead to show you where to take the next few steps. God has a definite plan for you, but he doesn’t usually reveal it all at once. He wants you to learn to trust him each step of the way. As you read the Bible today, ask the Lord to shed a bit of light on an area of your life where you need his guidance. Then, by faith, take a few steps forward. His Word won’t lead you astray.
