WE OFTEN BELIEVE that to be victorious, we must do something big. But the truth is, victory begins by obeying God in the little things: what we say, what we look at, how we react to others, what we think about, and whether or not we tell the truth. It takes discipline to obey God each day as we face many small battles and temptations. The more little battles we win, the stronger our faith will be. But it is only through Christ’s power that anyone can have victory over sin, evil, and death. So take it one day at a time. Today’s victory is all you need for today. Remember that God is a mighty warrior who will never stop fighting for those he loves.
