self-doubt - Can God use me, even when I doubt myself?

Moses pleaded with the LORD, “O Lord, I’m not very good with words. I never have been, and I’m not now, even though you have spoken to me. I get tongue-tied, and my words get tangled.” Then the LORD asked Moses, “Who makes a person’s mouth? Who decides whether people speak or do not speak, hear or do not hear, see or do not see? Is it not I, the LORD? Now go! I will be with you as you speak, and I will instruct you in what to say.” But Moses again pleaded, “Lord, please! Send anyone else.”

WAY BACK IN THE BOOK OF EXODUS, Moses pleaded with God to find someone else to command Pharaoh to free the Israelites. This task was way out of his comfort zone, and Moses felt scared, unprepared, and full of doubt. But God works best through humble hearts that depend on him. Moses had two choices: walk away or let God work through him. What choice will we make when God calls us to an intimidating task? Will our doubt cause us to walk away, or will we trust God to do amazing things through us? Remember that when you doubt yourself, you are actually doubting God. He has had many good things planned for your life since before you were born. And nothing can disrupt his plans—not even you. Face the task ahead with boldness because with God’s help, you will do mighty things.
