THE MIRACLES of God recorded in the Bible can seem like ancient myths if we fail to recognize God’s intervention in our lives today. Just as Pharaoh was blind to the miracles God performed right before his eyes, we too can blind ourselves to God’s miracles all around us. Maybe we think a miracle is always a dramatic event such as raising a dead person to life. But miracles happen every day: the birth of a baby, an awesome sunset, the restoration of a hopeless relationship, the rebirth of the earth in spring. These are just a few. If you think you’ve never seen a miracle, look closer. Ask God to help you see the miracles that are happening all around you.
